 IDEAL TEACHINGS OF VED   आदर्श वैदिक शिक्षाएँ
 CONCEPTS & EXTRACTS IN HINDUISM By:: Pt. Santosh Kumar Bhardwaj
PhotoVeds are the sacred scriptures in Hinduism which emerged along with Brahma Ji. They contain the knowledge which is sufficient to uplift the humans. It needs thorough understanding and practice to decipher-decode the text. At first glance, it appears that the important sections of the text are missing for the fear of falling into inappropriate-undeserving hands.
ऋग्वेद की शिक्षाएँ: IDEALS OF RIG VED

एकं सद् विप्रा बहुधा वदन्ति। (1-164-46)
उस एक प्रभु को विद्वान लोग अनेक नामों से पुकारते हैं। 
People call-address-remember HIM-the Almighty, by different names i.e., Bhagwan, God, Allah, Khuda, Ishwar which are the titles of the same force. One is teacher for the students, father for the children, husband for the wife, employer for the servant, a resident for the countrymen, traveller-passenger for the crew...

एको विश्वस्य भुवनस्य राजा।  (6-36-4)
वह सब लोकों का एकमात्र स्वामी है। 
He is the sole owner-master-king-ruler-emperor of all abodes. He is the creator,  nurturer and destroyer of all abodes viz. Heavens, Earth and the Patals.

यस्तन्न वेद किमृचा करिष्यति। (1-164-39)
जो उस ब्रह्म को नहीं जानता, उसे वेद से क्या तात्पर्य-लेना देना।  
One who is not aware of the existence of the Almighty, has no concern for Ved, its teachings, knowledge or the evolution of life either on earth or else where.

सं गच्छध्वं सं वदध्वम्। (10-191-2)
मिलकर चलो और मिलकर बोलो। 
Let us walk together and speak together. Let us pray together. Generally, we do so in and hour of need-distress. Union is strength. One must not be isolated-cut off from the main stream-society. He should not be a recluse. The world-universe, should not be treated as fragments-sections-pockets. It should be perceived as one entity. There should be no dispute-trouble-confrontation-misunderstanding-tension-grudge. Let us have faith in universal brother hood.

शुद्धा: पूता भवत यज्ञियास:। (10-18-2)
शुद्ध पवित्र बनो तथा परोपकार मय जीवन वाले हो। 
One should be pure-pious-honest-righteous-virtuous. One has to be devoted-dedicated for service of the society-helping others. Always try to help one in destitute-trouble-difficulty-need-down trodden-poor.

स्वस्ति पन्थामनु चरेम। (5-51-15)
हम कल्याण मार्ग के पथिक हों। 
Let us follow the path which leads to the benefit-well being of all. This road leads to the Almighty. There are various ways to achieve him like Karm Yog, Gyan-Sankhy Yog, Bhakti Yog. Prayers, asceticism, service to mankind, piousity, chastity are some other means for Salvation-Assimilation in God-Liberation.

देवानां सख्यमुप सेदिमा वयम्। (1-89-2)
हम देवों की मैत्री करें। 
Let have friendship with the  (-deities, people who are close to divinity. Let us become like them.) virtuous, kind, unattached, devoted, enlightened-learned-prudent-wise.

उप सर्प मातरं भूमिम्। (10-18-10)
मात्र भूमि की सेवा करो। 
Let us serve the mother earth. One must make efforts to preserve the sanctity of earth. There should be no war. All creatures have taken birth from this earth and ultimately, they will assimilate in it. One should act in such a way that they are not wiped out.

भद्रं-भद्रं क्रतु मस्मासु धेहि। (1-123-13)
हे प्रभु ! हम लोगों में सुख और कल्याणमय उत्तम संकल्प, ज्ञान और कर्म को धारण कराओ। 
O! The Almighty! Kindly help us to attain the ultimate (-pertaining to the Ultimate, the Almighty) virtues-commitments, knowledge-wisdom, enlightenment and deeds-endeavors-goals).
Emphasis should be on the most differentiating trait of human beings–unity–in purpose, method and approach. [Rig Ved 10.191]
Let us walk together in the path of truth without bias, injustice and intolerance, talk to each other to enhance knowledge, wisdom and affection without malice and hatred, keep working together to enhance knowledge and bliss and follow the path of truth and selflessness as exemplified by noble people. [Rig Ved 10.191.2]
One's analysis of right and wrong should be unbiased and not specific to particular set of people. He should organize together to help everyone enhance his health, knowledge and prosperity. His mind should be devoid of hatred and should see progress and happiness of all as one’s own progress and happiness and he should only act for enhancement of happiness of all based on truth. Every one should work together to eradicate falsehood and discover the truth. One should never deviate from the path of truth and unity. [Rig Ved 10.191.3]
One's efforts should be directed-channelized to enthusiasm and bliss-happiness of everyone. His emotions should be for every one and all and love all the way he loves himself. His desire, resolve, analysis, faith, abstinence, patience, keenness, focus, comfort etc., all should be towards truth and bliss for all, and away from falsehood. He should keep working in synergy to increase each others’ knowledge and bliss-the Ultimate.[Rig Ved 10.191.4]

यजुर्वेद की शिक्षायें:

भूर्भुवः स्वः तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यम् भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्। [यजुर्वेद-36.3]
उस प्राण स्वरुप, दुःख नाशक, सुख स्वरुप, श्रेष्ठ, तेजस्वी, पाप नाशक, देव स्वरुप परमात्मा को हम अंतरात्मा में धारण करें।  वह परमात्मा हमारी बुद्धि को सन्मार्ग में प्रेरित करें। 

Let us bear-contain-establish the Almighty in our soul-inner self, who is the Supreme Soul, vanishes the sorrow-grief-worries-tensions, who is identical to Ultimate pleasure, excellent, ful of aura-brightness-shine-luster, removes-vanishes sins and is divine. Let him guide-direct us to pious-virtuous-righteous path.

भद्रं कर्णेभिः श्रनुयाम। (25-21)
हम कानों से भद्र-अच्छे-मंगलकारी वचन ही सुनें।
One should listen to virtuous, pious words. It should be the endeavor of one to follow the path of truth and honesty. Preachings, lectures, sermons by religious people should be heard-understood and utilized in life. A thorough analysis may also be carried out simultaneously.

स ओत: प्रोतश्र्च विभू: प्रजासु। (32-8)
यह व्यापक प्रभु सभी दिशाओं में ओत प्रोत है।
The Almighty is self pervading and present everywhere. He is present in each and every particle and the creature. 
मा गृध:कस्य स्विद् धनम्। (40-1)
किसी के धन को देखकर मत ललचाओ। 
Never try to snatch the belongings-property-wife of others. One should not be greedy.

मित्रस्य चक्षुषा समीहामहे। (36-18)
हम सब एक दूसरे को मित्र की  दृष्टि से देखें। 
We should be friendly with others. Enmity must be avoided.

तमेव विदित्वाति मृत्युमेति। (31-18)
उस ब्रह्म को जानकर ही मनुष्य मृत्यु को लाँघ जाता है। 
One who has identified the Ultimate-the Almighty-in himself wins the death. He achieves Salvation-Assimilation in the Ultimate-Liberation-detachment.

ऋतस्य पथा प्रेत। (7-45)
सत्य के मार्ग पर चलो। 
Always follow the path of righteousness-truth and honesty.

तन्मे मनः शिव संकल्प मस्तु। (34-1)
मेरा मन उत्तम संकल्पों वाला हो। 
One must resolve-vow, to purity-goodness-virtues.

साम वेद की शिक्षाएँ:

अध्वरे सत्य धर्माणं कविं अग्रिन उप स्तुहि। (32)
हिंसा रहित यज्ञ सत्य धर्म का प्रचार करनेवाले अग्नि की स्तुति करो। 
One must promote the religion which is based on the sacrifice-Agnihotr-Hawan (-it should contain herbs, cereals, fruits, sweets, grains etc.), which is free from violence (-animal-human sacrifice) and based on the tenants of truth-reality.
ऋचा वरेण्यं अव: यामी। (48)
वेद मन्त्रों से मैं श्रेष्ठ संरक्षण माँगता हूँ।
One seeks asylum-protection in the power-strength of the Ved mantr, which is excellent-Ultimate.
मन्त्र श्रुत्यं चरामसी।(176)
वेद मन्त्रों में जो कहा गया है वही हम करते हैं। 
We follow the path-dictates-guidance, provided by the Veds.   

ऋषीणां सप्त वाणी: अभि अनूषत्। (577)
ऋषियों की सात छन्दों वाली वाणी कहो-बोलो;  वेद मन्त्र बोलो।
One is advised to utter-speak-recite the language elaborated-described-discussed in the 7 tenants by the Rishies-sages in the form of Ved mantr.

अमृताय आप्यायमान: दिवि उत्तमानि श्रवांसि धिव्य। 603)
मोक्ष प्राप्ति के लिये मनुष्य अपनी उन्नति करते हुए ध्युलोक में यश प्राप्त करे। 
One must progress for seeking a birth in the heavens through Salvation-Assimilation in the Almighty-Liberation. 

यज्ञस्य ज्योति: प्रियं मधु पवते। (1031)
यज्ञ की ज्योति प्रिय और मधुर भाव उतपन्न करती है। 
The aura-glow-fire produced by the Agnihotr-hawan-sacrifices in fire is pious-pure and create Ultimate-good-virtuous sentiments. 

अथर्ववेद की शिक्षाएँ:
तस्य ते भक्तिवांस: स्याम। (6-79-3)
हे प्रभो! हम तेरे भक्त हों। 
One is seeking asylum-shelter-protection under the Almighty. One can attain the God through Karm Yog, Gyan-Sankhy Yog and Bhakti Yog. Bhakti Yog is considered to be Ultimate. As a matter of fact Karm is  essential in Gyan and Bhakti Yog, while both Karm Yog and Gyan Yog constitute an inseparable component of Bhakti Yog. Kaam Yog is another means of realization of God, which needs extreme dedication-devotion-Bhakti (-समर्पण).

एक एव नमस्यो विक्ष्वीडय:। (2-2-1)
एक परमेश्वर ही पूजा के योग्य और प्रजाओं में स्तुत्य है। 
One should be devoted to the God. Amongest all creations-creatures-living beings, no one is eligible to be worshiped. If one worship a human being-devil-Rakshas-Demon, he is sure to gain incarnation-next birth, as per the qualities-characteristics of that particular species.

स नो मुञ्चत्वं हस:। (4-23-1)
यह ईश्वर हमें पापों से मुक्त करे। 
One is requesting the Almighty to clear him of sins. Sins are the out come of wicked deeds. They appear in the form of pain, torture, difficulties, illness, tensions, troubles etc. दुःख में सुमिरन सब करें, सुख में करे न कोय। जो सुख में सुमिरन करे, तो दुःख कये को होए।।

य इत् तद् विदुस्ते अमृतत्व मानशु:। (9-10-1)
जो उस ब्रह्म को जान लेता है, वो मोक्ष पद प्राप्त कर लेता है। 
One who identifies the God (-present within himself), attains Salvation.

सं श्रुतेन गमेमहि।(1-1-4)
हम वेदोपदेश से युक्त हों। 
One should get an opportunity-chance to acquaint himself with the Ved. Learning-education is the most tedious-difficult job for some. Even if, they get an opportunity, they try to skip it. Still they may be able to listen to the lectures-sermons-preachings by the sages, sadhues, Pundits, scholars. Listen-analyse-try to grasp-understand-acquire the gist-nectar-elixir-extract-theme of the Veds. This will open avenues for the devotee to Parmanand-Bliss-extreme pleasure, Moksh.

यज्ञो विश्र्वस्य भुवनस्य नाभि:।(9-10-14)
यज्ञ ही सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड को बाँधने वाला नाभि स्थल है।
Ygy-Hawan-Agnihotr-Sacrifice in the holi fire generates the binding force for the universe, like the naval in the human body. This is considered to be the most noble-pious-holi-deed. 

ब्रहचर्येण तपसा देवा मृत्युमपाण्घत। (11-5-19)
ब्रह्मचर्य रूपी तपोबल से ही विद्वान लोगों ने मृत्यु को जीता है। 
Asceticism, chastity, staunch meditation (ध्यान-तपस्या-समाधि), are the means of winning-overcoming-overpowering the death. One must remember that one day or the other, sooner or later, death is bound to come. However one can elongate his life span. Even the God do not claim to be Ajr-Amar (-अजर-अमर, indestructible). A few people Like Hanuman Ji Maharaj, Prahlad, Bahu Bali, Lomesh, Markandey, Vibhishan, Ashwasthama are considered to be chiranjivi-one who live a long life (-in millions of years).

मधुमतीं वाचमुदेयम्।(16-2-2)
 मैं मीठी वाणी बोलूँ। 
One must be soft spoken. He should speak in sweet voice, consoling others.ऐसी वाणी बोलिये मन का आपा खोय औरन कू शीतल करै आपहुँ शीतल होए। 

परैतु मृत्युरमृतं न ऐतु। (18-3-62)
मृत्यु हम से दूर हो और हमें अमृत पद  हो। 
One should be away from death attaining a permanent place-seat in the heaven. One desires to be free from the cycle of rebirth. He wish to attain Salvation-proximity to the Almighty. 

सर्वमेव शमस्तु न:। (19-9-14)
हमारे लिए सभी कुछ कल्याणकारी हो। 
Everything in this universe should be beneficial-helpful to one-living beings-creatures. One should adopt-perform such activities which are meant for the over all benefit of all.

भक्त प्रह्लाद ने अपना राज्य त्याग कर भगवान् शिव के पुत्र अन्धक-जो पूर्व जन्म में महा दुराचारी राजा वेन था, को दे दिया। कामान्ध अन्धक  ने माता पार्वती को ही पत्नी रूप में प्राप्त करने की इच्छा की तो प्रह्लाद ने उसे गाढ़ी राज के ये वचन कहे : 
(1) प्राणों का छोड़ देना अच्छा है परन्तु चुगलखोरों की बात में दिलचस्पी लेना उचित नहीं है। 
(2) मौन रहना अच्छा है, किन्तु असत्य बोलना ठीक नहीं है। 
(3) नपुंसक होकर रहना उचित है मगर पर स्त्री गमन उचित नहीं। 
(4) भीख मांगना अच्छा है परन्तु दूसरे की धन का उपभोग उचित नहीं। 
(5) संसार में चार प्रकार के व्यक्ति ठीक-ठीक नहीं देख पाते (i) जन्म का अँधा, (ii) प्रेम का अँधा-कामान्ध, (iii) मदोन्मत और (iv) लोभ से पराभूत।
 जो व्यक्ति धर्म निष्ठ, अभिमान और क्रोध को जितने वाला, विद्या से विनम्र, किसी को दुःख न देने वाला, अपनी स्त्री से संतुष्ट, तथा परस्त्री का त्याग करनेवाला होता है उसे संसार में किसी का भी नहीं होता। 
जो व्यक्ति धर्म से हैं, कलह प्रेमी, दूसरों को दुःख देने वाला, वेद-शास्त्र (-के अध्ययन से रहित), दूसरे के धन और दूसरे की स्त्री की इच्छा रखने वाला तथा विभिन्न वर्णों से सम्बन्ध रखने वाला होता है, उसे इस लोक और परलोक में भी सुख की प्राप्ति नहीं हो सकती। 
धर्म हैं मनुष्य रौरव नरक में जाते हैं।  पूर्वजों ने धर्म को ही परलोक के पार ले जाने वाला और अधर्म को पतन का हेतु बताया है। धर्मनिष्ठ व्यक्तियों को परस्त्री का सेवन इक्कीस नरकोँ में डालता है। 
विद्वान दूसरे की स्त्रियों को दूर से ही परित्याग कर देते हैं क्योंकि परस्त्रियां नीच बुद्धि वाले मनुष्यों को तिरस्कृत करा देती हैं।
