ॐ गं गणपतये नमः। 

अक्षरं परमं ब्रह्म ज्योतीरूपं सनातनम्। 

गुणातीतं निराकारं स्वेच्छामयमनन्तजम्॥

अव सृजा वनस्पते देव देवेभ्यो हविः। प्र दातुरस्तु चेतनम्॥

हे वनस्पतिदेव! आप देवों के लिये नित्य हविष्यान्न प्रदान करने वाले दाता को प्राणरूप उत्साह प्रदान करें।[ऋग्वेद 1.13.11]

हे वनस्पति देव! यजमान को ज्ञान देने के लिए देवताओं के लिए हवि समर्पण करो।

Hey Vanaspati Dev (deity of vegetation)! Please give grains for offerings to the holder of the Yagy, to be used as offerings for the demigods-deities.
